Please note we do not provide extra Blankets or Beach towels, please bring your own. Your cottage will be clean and the beds will be made with a fitted sheet, flat sheet and pillowcases.


Each Cottage has a Cable TV, Air Conditioning, Campfire Area with Charcoal Grill, Picnic Table, and Adirondack Chairs.

Deposit Policy:

A deposit in the amount of one night is required to confirm your reservation for a stay that is less than a week. If you are staying a week or more we will require a deposit in the amount of $400.00. By making an online reservation, you authorize the above-described deposit to be taken from your credit card.

If you are mailing a check for your deposit it should be made out to the "Hideaway Cottages". Please note the reservation number in the memo section of the check.

The guest will be charged the cost of the first night if they cancel after reservation and the total price of the reservation if they cancel in the 30 days before arrival.

PETS ALLOWED:

Dogs & Cats $150 per week or $30 per day.

NOTE: For the convenience of all our guests, dogs must be on a leash and all business picked up. Dogs cannot be left in a cottage unattended if subject to separation anxiety, excessive barking, or destruction of property. Pet owners are responsible for any injury and destruction of property caused by pets. Pet owners must bring their own blankets and towels. However, sheets & pillowcases are provided.

Customer Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Indemnification Agreement:


Hideaway Waterfront Cottages, Inc. located at 138 Hidden Valley Rd., Lake Luzerne, NY 12846 wishes you a safe and enjoyable stay at the Hideaway. As a registered guest, you and your family enjoy free use of our volleyball, rowboats, canoes, private beach, and other water sports activities. Water sports, camping, and sporting activities have inherent risks. As a guest and participant in the use of our beach, boats, and sporting equipment you agree to assume the following responsibilities. You understand and acknowledge the risk associated with participating in sporting events, camping, water sports and using watercrafts, to include tubes, SUP Boards, rowboats, aqua trikes, pedal boats, kayaks, or our pedal pontoon boat.

As the customer, participant, or guardian of a minor participant, you agree to the fullest extent permitted by law...


1. To waive all claims against and indemnify Hideaway Waterfront Cottages, Inc., its employees, owners and heirs or assigns and they are hereby released and forever discharged from all action, cause of actions, lawsuits, claims, controversies and demands whatsoever for or on account of injuries, death and or damages claimed to have been received to property, persons, or anything, by any claiming party during any period in which the participant has engaged in a sporting activity or made use such water sports equipment and Hideaway property.


2. To assume all risks of using the equipment or participating in the water sports activities. The customer understands there are inherent risks in water sports that may be seen or unforeseen and agrees to follow all safety procedures and to be mindful of others in the immediate area of the operation of water sports equipment.


3. Please understand that every year people drown in the Lake George area. Therefore, it is very important that everyone use caution when on the lake. Life Vests are required when using our boats.


4. To grant Hideaway Waterfront Cottages, Inc. and its representatives and owners the right to take photographs and video customers in connection with their water sports activities. The Hideaway Waterfront Cottages Inc. may copyright, use, and publish in print or electronically in a lawful purpose for publicity advertising or other marketing activities.


5. Certifies they have no physical or mental conditions that preclude them from participating in water sports activities. They understand participation is voluntary, are free to ask questions and to inspect all equipment for safety.


6. The rider will reimburse Hideaway Waterfront Cottages for the full cost of any repairs, maintenance and labor required to fix a personal watercrafts or pontoon boats. Lost equipment such as life vests, and oars or damage to equipment will be reimbursed to Hideaway Waterfront Cottages, inc.


7. If operating any watercraft, the rider certifies they will not operate in a reckless or unsafe manner, will not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or prescription medication. They agree to pay any fine Hideaway Waterfront Cottages, Inc. may charge for not following water safety procedures.


8. Certifies they understand the proper and safe use of watercraft and water sport equipment and will use good common sense and judgement on the water for the safety of themselves and others in the immediate area.


9. Acknowledges, the risk of falling associated with entering or exiting any watercraft and the requirement of having at least one life vest for each person in or on any watercraft. All injuries must be reported to a staff member of the Hideaway and such guest, guardian or participant aggress to cooperate with an injury investigation and report.


10. The guest, guardian or participant understands that they may be refused the use of or the continued use of Hideaway Waterfront Cottages. Inc. equipment if a Hideaway employee, at their sole discretion, determines an individual is not operating equipment in a safe and proper manner or appears to be intoxicated or lacking the physical or mental faculties to operate equipment in a safe or reasonable manner.


11. A parent as legal guardian agrees to explain to their child the risks of injury in water sports activities and to supervise children while at the beach, engaged in any water activity or on our playground. It is understood that the parent or guardian is solely responsible for the safety of their children.
